Rehab Fahmy, the weightlifting play in Al Wafaa and Al Aml Club for the handicapped said that since my childhood I do not know the impossible and my mother was the motivation behind my determination to be distinct from other healthy people, she also taught me the determination and challenge and that there is nothing impossible.
Rehab added that 2000 was the he beginning of the challenge and for four years I played tennis, table tennis, volleyball and weightlifting, the only game I found myself to love and decided to be a champion and actually I participated in the republic championship weightlifting held in Al Wafaa and Al Aml Club in Cairo and with the God's Grace I came first and won the gold medal.
Rehab continued that the championships rolled between the first and the second, and in 2008 I was selected to Egypt team and in 2017 I participated in the first international championship of weightlifting, and thanks to God's Grace I was first ranked and won the gold medal for the weight of 73K and lifting a weight of 115 Kilo.
In the same context, she confirmed that in 2019 I got the fourth world ranking weightlifting of 118 kilo in Kazakhstan and I was eligible for Tokyo Olympics in August 2020 to represent Egypt and currently I'm preparing for the African Games Championship held in Morocco on the first of next January.
On the other hand, Rehab said that she is proud to represent Egypt in Tokyo Olympics and the African Games Championship in Morocco in 2020, especially when she will raise the flag of Egypt. She also feels proud that President El Sisi has granted for persons with special needs the rights they have been deprived of for many years and has brought smile and hope to the handicapped.
